Fulfillment Policy
This fulfillment policy is in effect as of January 1, 2024
We currently work with over 45 copyright-compliant literature suppliers worldwide. Most of these suppliers are public or University libraries and as such local government entities. They pay all due copyright fees to the respective publishers or the rights-holders. This happens usually via the officially recognized copyright-collecting societies in individual countries.
Depending on the availability at our supplying libraries and other providers, we supply full text science articles or abstracts by email within a few hours to a few days.
Available types of journal articles/abstracts and book chapters
1. Electronic article or abstract ($19.90): If you ordered an article/abstract which has been published electronically, we will email you the full text article immediately or within a maximum of 6 hours.
2. Library-scanned article or abstract ($29.90): Articles/abstracts which have only been published in print take up to 1 workday or in rare cases up to 3 workdays to supply. We need to request the scan from our international literature-retrieval partners. This process is usually completed within 1 workday (Mon-Fri) but in rare circumstances (< 5%) it can take up to a maximum of 3 workdays.
Delivery
You will receive the following 2 emails:
1. Immediately after ordering: An email from Stripe (and PayPal if paid with PayPal) containing the receipt of your payment.
2. Delivery after article/abstract retrieval: An email from us (info@documentsdelivered.com) containing (1) the bibliographic details of the article/abstract with (2) the full text article/abstract attached. There are no downloads on our site. Please wait for our email and please check your Spam folder for this email.
Language of articles/abstracts
Please note that while most references on our site include an English title and abstract, the language of the full article may not be in English. Please check the source (journal or book) if it is published in English and/or in another language. Please note that some journals publish articles in different languages.
Refunds
If we cannot retrieve the ordered article or abstract, we will immediately refund your prepayment.
Our products are copyrighted and are protected under copyright law. Since we promptly deliver electronic articles/abstracts or immediately order scans from a supplier, we usually cannot accept cancelation of orders for items once we have emailed them.
Therefore, please contact us immediately after completing payment if you want to cancel your order. After receiving your ordered article/abstract by email, you may ask us for a refund under some circumstances. As indicated above, the language of the article can be reason for a return. We accept this if the information provided at our site is insufficient to determine the language of the text.
